The Fitzie Award

Since its inception in 1988, the Fitzie Foundation* has awarded grants annually to outstanding young women from the four schools attended by Fitzie Grogan Petersmeyer: Tenacre Country Day School; Dana Hall School; Harvard-Radcliffe College; and Harvard Business School. To date, 103 women have received grants.

Each recipient is an extraordinary woman who possesses many of Fitzie’s outstanding qualities. As a group, they are extremely talented and enjoy a broad range of interests. It is the hope of the Trustees that the following profiles will convey some of the spirit and sense of adventure of these women.

The Trustees are grateful to the Friends of the Foundation and to the four schools attended by Fitzie for their support. Their commitments help ensure that Fitzie’s life continues to positively impact the lives of others.
